Austrian leather covered travelling wardrobe suitcase/trunk, by Vienna based luggage workshop Paul Stark, circa 1920. Fitted interior, the right side bearing the manufacturer's plate "Schrank Koffer Werkstatte P. Stark Wien, IV. Prinz Eugenstr. 56 Tel. U49-4-70", with hinged drop-front opening onto interior compartment, above three drawers and storage area, the left side containing clothes hangers on rods, covered by a canvas curtain. The trunk with a rounded top and brass rollers, heavy leather handles, yellow brass clusures, locks and rivets, leather-reinforced corners and angles with wooden protective slats, metal rivets, locks, catches and re-enforced wood, leather and metal edging and corners.
