Rare Arthur Brett & Sons Regency style mahogany circular extending dining table with five leaves contained in separate wooden storage box. Mahogany with a burl fan veneered top, raised on a turned centre pillar with down swept quadruped legs with brass toe caps and castors. The top with pull out braces to support five leaves which extend from the circumference. Leaves contained in separate wooden storage box. Late 20th century. The English firm of Arthur Brett & Sons produced fine quality furniture since their establishment in 1860 until James Brett, the great-grandson of the founder of the firm, closed the shop in 2015.
