Fine carved and painted wooden model canoe, decorated with finely painted stylised designs, Haida circa 1880, together with three paddles. Northern style canoe featuring enough details to indicate the maker was entirely familiar with the form of the traditional post-contact northern canoe which evolved shortly after contact with Euro-American explorers.
